She is an accomplished leader with 20+ years of experience with established relationships across a variety of stakeholders, a strong track record of winning and executing innovative strategies to increase sales and profitability across varied organizational structures from Fortune 100, to nimble fast-paced startups.   Kalena harnesses a unique blend of entrepreneurial, creative and analytical thinking, coupled with attention to detail, grace in closing deals, and persistence in seeking strong returns on investment.   

Prior to launching her businesses, she spent 10 years at Morgan Stanley in a variety of leadership roles in Strategy, Relationship Management and Business Development in groups such as Alternative Investments, International Private Wealth Management, and the at Work division. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Kalena spent much of her formative years at Merrill Lynch leading efforts on the Institutional and Wealth Management sides of the business as a Financial Advisor and Vice President of Global Investment Banking. Prior to this, she co-founded and sold a media company, and led corporate development efforts for a leading social enterprise organization in DC. 

Kalena serves on the Board of Directors for Partnership with Children, a nonprofit organization focusing on providing a range of social services for at-risk children in New York. She holds a BA from Bowdoin College and an MBA from Georgetown University. She currently resides in Maryland with her two young children and husband.
